MALABAR
Sustainable Mango Wood · Natural Hand-Rubbed OilThe Heritage Narrative
Inspired by Malabar, the tropical cradle of southwestern India, where golden warmth radiates through hollowed organic timber.
Craft Process & Joinery
Blind Mortise & Tenon
Each load-bearing intersection is hewn with deep interlocking tenons, allowing the solid timber to expand and contract across Gulf humidity cycles without cracking.
Hand-Chiseled Relief
Geometric reliefs are executed by hand using traditional Japanese and Egyptian chisels, creating a living micro-texture that catches ambient light.
Organic Desert Beeswax
Triple burnished with natural raw beeswax and cold-pressed linseed oil. Leaves the pores open and silk-smooth, never suffocated beneath synthetic lacquer.
Individual Serial Plaque
Every finished commission is countersunk with an engraved solid brass atelier plaque documenting the year of hewing, timber lot, and master joiner seal.
